Wizard Accounting Services was founded on April 8, 2010, as a remote small business bookkeeping service. In July 2016, the entity structure was changed to an LLC to continue providing those services but with expansion in mind.
Presently, Wizard Accounting employs four individuals in three states. Cornerstones of Wizard
Accounting are teamwork and serving with excellence.
Wizard’s team consists of founding member and owner, Rosemary Rosencrans, Administrative Manager
– Marissa Dugan, Vendor manager – Stephanie Sweet, and Accounting Associate - Michael Ramik . Each
with unique talents but share keen attention to detail, customer focus, and committed to setting the
standard bar high.
The People of Wizard Accounting
Rosemary began her NJ career September 2006 with NET Property Group, N Plainfield NJ. She took on the challenge of managing eighty plus properties, twenty one bank accounts, lease administration, vendor & tenant management and full spectrum accounting services up to trial balance while reporting directly to seven partners as a one person accounting department. No stranger to hard work, Rosemary streamlined the processes to assist the portfolio to recoup of dollars lost due to missed deadlines and rent increases and well as exponential growth.
Her extensive business experience in management as well as entrepreneurship began at age thirteen and has spanned several decades in varied industries. Rosemary has revamped and implemented many foundational changes as well as software systems to achieve optimal results for companies. Yardi, AppFolio, Crystal Reporting, industry specific programs, certification as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and adding certification in software to prepare for ASC 842 administration software are among the many tools in her “chaos tamer” toolbox
She also hold the Lean Law Accounting Pro credential.
Marissa Dugan is currently the Administrative Manager for Wizard Accounting Services, LLC since 2017. Her general responsibilities are managing accounts receivable, compiling information for developing and maintaining rent rolls and lease details, as well as general bookkeeping. Prior to that, she spent six years as an Office Manager at Jeffery Realty, Inc preparing leases, rent rolls, and lease details; preparing for site tours by gathering and organizing necessary documents In addition to interviewing, hiring, and training employees, she conducted property research and data analysis. She holds a B.A. from Seton Hall University and an M.S. from Drexel University.
